Structure Draughtsman

We are seeking a detail-oriented Structure Draughtsman to join our Bridges and Structures team at ERVP’s Engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed technical drawings of Highway and Railway bridges and related infrastructure using CAD software.

Dipl Civil Engineering / ITI Civil Draughtsman

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Create, modify, and update structural drawings using CAD software specifically for bridges and related structure
  2. Proficiency in CAD and familiarity with structural drafting software.
  3. Basic understanding of bridge design principles and relevant codes (IS & IRC codes)
  4. Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  5. Conduct quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy,
  6. Prepare detailed reinforcement drawings, Bar Bending Schedules, consistent with structural design requirements of RCC, PSC and Steel composite bridges etc.
  7. Incorporate revisions and updates promptly as per engineer feedback and project progress.
  8. Visit construction sites occasionally for clarifications and to verify the conformity of structural details.
  9. Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and project documents.
