Master's Degree in Sociology/Social works

  • Lead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of social safeguard measures for infrastructure and development projects.
  • Ensure compliance with the Environmental and Social Management Framework (ESMF), World Bank safeguard policies, and applicable national regulations.
  • Conduct social impact assessments, stakeholder consultations, and community engagement activities.
  • Prepare and implement social safeguard instruments, including resettlement, rehabilitation, and livelihood restoration plans where required.
  • Monitor social risks, grievance redress mechanisms, and safeguard compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with government agencies, project stakeholders, and development partners to ensure effective implementation of social safeguards.
  • Prior experience in social sector projects is essential.
  • Must have experience working on at least one project financed by the World Bank or another International Financial Institution (IFI).
