- Lead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of social safeguard measures for infrastructure and development projects.
- Ensure compliance with the Environmental and Social Management Framework (ESMF), World Bank safeguard policies, and applicable national regulations.
- Conduct social impact assessments, stakeholder consultations, and community engagement activities.
- Prepare and implement social safeguard instruments, including resettlement, rehabilitation, and livelihood restoration plans where required.
- Monitor social risks, grievance redress mechanisms, and safeguard compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with government agencies, project stakeholders, and development partners to ensure effective implementation of social safeguards.
- Prior experience in social sector projects is essential.
- Must have experience working on at least one project financed by the World Bank or another International Financial Institution (IFI).
