Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform structural analysis and design of bridges and related structures (RCC, PSC, steel, and composite types) as per relevant codes (IRC, IS, AASHTO, or Eurocode).
    • Prepare General Arrangement Drawings (GADs), design reports, bar bending schedules, and construction drawings.
    • Conduct load calculations for various load combinations including dead, live, wind, seismic, and vehicular loads.
    • Utilize design and analysis software for structural modeling.
    • Coordinate with highway, geotechnical, and hydrology teams for integrated bridge design solutions.
    • Review and ensure compliance of design deliverables with authority guidelines and project specifications.
    • Provide technical support during construction, including review of shop drawings, site queries, and design modifications.
    • Prepare design documentation and support proof-checking or independent design reviews (IDR).
    • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and sustainability standards in bridge design.
    • Participate in value engineering and optimization of design alternatives to reduce cost and construction time.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (M.Tech in Structural Engineering preferred).
  • 3–10 years of experience in bridge design and detailing.
  • Proficiency in design software Strong knowledge of IRC, IS, and international bridge design standards. 
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple design tasks and meet project deadlines.
